Margot Heffernan is a researcher, writer and English language tutor. She provides background medical research and writing for legal and health care professionals. Margot also works as an English language tutor, assisting students at all levels of learning. Margot has a Masters degree in Library and Information Science from the State University of New York at Albany, and a BA degree in anthropology from the State University College at Potsdam, New York.

Margot is a former medical librarian who became fascinated with health, medicine, and law. She has researched and written about many topics in clinical medicine. Margot has authored or co-authored several publications that have appeared in medical journals and one textbook.

Margot was the principal owner of MedQuest, a medical research service for legal and health care professionals that furnished vital medical reports for physicians and lawyers in central and western New York State.

As a librarian, writer, and tutor, Margot is keenly aware of the role that information exchange plays in our daily lives. She knows that the ability to speak and write clearly are essential skills for personal and professional success. Whether she is coaching an English language student or writing a professional document, Margot completes the job with diligence, skill, and passion.
